Hotel work is becoming second-nature to us at INFIGO. As part of the Travelodge Refresh Program, INFIGO took to the challenge of the 108 guest room refurbishment works at Travelodge Bankstown. This was not going to be easy; with Travelodge Bankstown being entwined with the Bankstown Sports Club – which also had separate construction works being completed by others at the same time.
INFIGO understands that every client wants maximum return on their investment. The Travelodge Refresh Program incorporates smart design changes that allows maximum impact to the guests, minimize disruptions to the hotel operations during the refurbishment at a cost that is palatable to both clients and investors.
The challenges we faced in this project included:
- Tight programme – Less than 8 weeks
- No storage on-site requiring full time coordination of delivery of goods & services with the Sport’s Club and Hotel
- Working in an operational hotel and sport’s club which have separate construction sites
As always; INFIGO could not have completed this project with minimal delays and disruptions – without the ongoing assistance from the Travelodge Bankstown management team and client consultant Ed Ramon-Kane. Another Travelodge in our portfolio and another happy hotel manager!
